Cristy & Ben – You Yangs Engagement session
September 29, 2009
Like I said, I am a few days behind in my blog posting… One of the down sides to being so busy!!
Here is catch-up number 2, Cristy & Bens Engagement Session in the You Yangs. It only took 4 weeks to finally do the session due to the craptastic weather we have been “enjoying” so far this spring!!
They will be married at St Thomas’ Church in Werribee, with the reception at Werribee Park Mansion.

So, there you have it.

Almost too busy for my own good !!
September 28, 2009
Just a quick little post to let you all know that I am so damn busy, its just crazy, and I love it !!
I am about 1/2 a dozen blog posts behind and trying hard to catch up, but its hard to get your mojo on when the phone wont stop ringing. I have been getting a ton of enquries and bookings, and even now, I still have emails to reply to. And yes, it’s currently 11.27pm!!
I booked yet another Ballarat wedding, 2 more for Werribee Park Mansion, and another Scotish Wedding as well. (With real scotsmen too!!)
I photographed another 15 hour wedding day on the weekend and I promise to have a sneak peek ready tomorrow !!
Add to that 3 engagement sessions and the inside cover portrait for the up and coming book of a local author (more on that one tomorrow too) and its easy to see why I might be a little behind!!
Like I said, crazy, but I love it.
Stay tuned for plenty of updates and posts and awesome images !!!

I’m also a Ballarat Wedding Photographer
September 17, 2009
This is just a quick little post to say that I am shooting yet another wedding in Ballarat next year!! How cool is that!!
The ceremony will be at the awesome Art Gallery of Ballarat, followed by the reception at an equally cool venue, Pipers by the Lake!!
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my 4 new Brides and Grooms, who this week have chosen me as their wedding photographer !!
Then, if you add another 2 portrait clients in as well, that makes 6 bookings in 4 days. I feel like Mr Popular, I can tell you!!
Just had to share this as I am so damned excited !!!
Thanks Everyone !!

Melbourne Wedding – Image of the Week (23)
September 7, 2009
I am permanently archiving wedding images from Oct-Dec 2008 and came across this gem. I just had to share this with you, especially considering the photographer who captured the image.

A classic image - Captured by Narelle Duncan, my lovely wife
She was using a Canon 30D & Sigma 30mm/1.4.
Settings were – ISO 400 – 1/125 second @ f/4.0 & 580EX Flash – set to e-ttl & bounced off the roof.
So there you have it and like I always say, please feel free to comment… Especially those of you viewing this via Facebook !!!
She is actually pretty good huh??!!
The aim of Image of the week is to show you a little more of what I love to shoot, and most times its something a little different.

I love doors… I have loads of photo’s of doors… I might even start a blog series just on doors… wouldn’t that be interesting??
And I loved the green against the orange…. or is it apricot? It’s not what you would expect to see in Melbourne.

This is just to show you I do occasionally see Melbourne in colour.

Jogging Photography VI
September 4, 2009
As a Wedding and Portrait photographer I actually spend more time at my desk or behind the wheel of my car than I do behind a camera. But as long as the music is good, I don’t have a problem with that. Now here is the catch, my wife is a good cook, and well, I do like my food…
You can see where this is heading right??
The end result is… well.. I am “spreading a little, so to speak and I am not overly impressed with the situation.
And while I will admit that I have not been jogging EVERY morning, I am still putting in an effort and I think I can almost see a Gym membership with my name on it…
Here is another early morning Jogging Photography image.
