A little more from Jaz & Dave’s awesome engagement session down at Ocean Grove.
I said I would post a few more and what better way to celebrate my 50th post for the year!!

A kiss
This blog opens the door to my world, my passion, my life. And incase you missed it, my names Robb Duncan - Photographer - Father of 6 - Wearer of Kilts and all round nice guy.( OK, so that last bit might be stretching it a little !!)
Its always cool to shoot an engagement session at the same place that the ceremony will be held… For one I can discus the wedding day details with the bride and groom, and of course you get to see exactly what it is about the location that the couple like, and there is nothing like a live walkthrough to get a good feel for the place.
This was another Ballarat engagement session, and even though the rain held off, its just a pity the mosquitoes didn’t!!

Kirks Res - Ballarat Engagement Session
And you know I have a think for arches and tunnels and things of that sort lately…. so it was awesome to find another one to play with.
And not that many more weeks until the wedding, I can’t wait !!!!!

The idea was to capture something with a little of flavor from Jocelyn and Simon’s local neighbourhood… I guess you could say a little urban edge…

Next to Prahran Station, and almost edgy enough!!
It was an awesome session, thanks so much guys!!
I will have more on this session soon, I promise!!

You all remember these images from the awesome e-session of Tanya and Angus right?!!

Well and truly covered !!
And you know how much they loved the session right? Almost as much as I did !!
Well, Tanya and Angus decided to share the session with the world by writing a little letter to Land Rover Monthly Magazine.
And they asked if they could include some images, which of course I was more than happy to supply !!
Anyhow, I just found out via facebook that the letter was published in this months Magazine, How awesome is that?!!
VERY AWESOME !!

A perfect muddy kiss!!
Thanks Tanya and Angus for the mention and thanks for being the kinds of people I love to deal with!! And I can’t wait until MAY!!!!

Ok, so I have a lot more work to catch up on than I realised, But I though I would share a shot from my weekend engagement session, shot at John’s family farm, just out of Geelong. It was Cold and Windy… and well, actually it was very cold. And did I mention it was windy?
Consider this a sneak peek… I will post more soon. (they are almost ready!!)

Rachael and John's dog Marble - on the run !!
Marble provided the entertainment for the afternoon and made sure every pose and camera angle was thoroughly inspected before I pressed the shutter.
Not bad work for a little dog that is still recovering from an operation !!

The aim of Image of the week is to show you a little more of what I love to shoot, and most times its something a little different.
I recently had the pleasure of travelling to Briars Homestead, near Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula to shoot Gary and Michelle’s wonderfully laid back Engagement Portrait Session. They were accompanied by Sam and a few hundred flies (I don’t think the flies were Sam’s Fault… :)

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Adrian and Annette in the heart of Melbourne to shoot their Engagement session on Thursday evening last week and I have to admit I had a blast.
They were nervously cute together, but it didnt take long before I had them smiling at my “half crazy, dark alley, rubbish bin climbing antics”. I cannnot wait to shoot their wedding at Point Cook Homestead in November !!
