Soldiers Memorial Institute

I took a quick trip to Bendigo this afternoon to shoot an engagement session for an up and coming wedding in Bendigo !!

I really love Bendigo, and while I was there, I could not resist capturing this.

My Geelong

After the popularity of my various My Melbourne blog posts, I thought I would start a series on Geelong, considering I book about 1/2 of my weddings there.

So hello Geelong !!

This was a quick 5 minute exposure of the Geelong Waterfront captured on Saturday Night on my way home from Jaz and Daves wedding.

Another Ballarat Engagement Session – Sneak peek

Its always cool to shoot an engagement session at the same place that the ceremony will be held… For one I can discus the wedding day details with the bride and groom, and of course you get to see exactly what it is about the location that the couple like, and there is nothing like a live walkthrough to get a good feel for the place.

This was another Ballarat engagement session, and even though the rain held off, its just a pity the mosquitoes didn’t!!

And you know I have a think for arches and tunnels and things of that sort lately…. so it was awesome to find another one to play with.

And not that many more weeks until the wedding, I can’t wait !!!!!

Prahran Engagement Session – Melbourne Photography

The idea was to capture something with a little of flavor from Jocelyn and Simon’s local neighbourhood… I guess you could say a little urban edge…

Cape Otway Wedding VI

This wedding has been sneak peeked a number of times, and I guess you could say I like to tease. I have a full post almost ready to go, just finishing off the last few images and we are all set !!

As with the last image I posted from this wedding, sometimes an image says enough to not have to add much of anything else… And this happened a lot with this wedding… it was really something special.

Thunderstorm - Between Melton and Bacchus Marsh

Traveling to and from client meetings is almost as fun as the client meetings themselves. Especially when I get a view like this out the widescreen of my car !! Captured while driving the back roads between Bacchus Marsh and Melton earlier today… Yeah, I love my Job.

Its just a pity I missed the lightning… maybe next time!!

Ballarat Fly Fishers Club Jetty

I have spent a bit of time in and around Ballarat over the past few months, meeting with clients, scouting locations and shooting engagement sessions. Having lived there when I was a kid, it always has a familiar, homely kind of feel to it. What can I say, I really love Ballarat.

I think the best part though, is re-discovering places I remember from my childhood, like…
