Something Old – Eynesbury Homestead
July 27, 2009
As I am just about to swap out one of my Wedding Photography backup hard drives (containing 2007-2008 images), I decided to take a wee look through some of the folders and I found these and thought I would share.
They are from a wedding at Eynesbury Homestead in June 2008.

Details. I love to shoot them.

Flowers on the window sill

Hanging in the window and Being Laced

Beautiful dress, Beautiful bride
There are dozens more great images, perhaps I will share a few more next week.

I love to shoot details, I love to shoot the bridal preparations, things like make-up and hair… So it should come as no surprise that I jumped at the chance to shoot the Girls getting ready for their Debutant Ball… After all, it is just like dressing for a wedding.
The first series of images were captured in the kitchen/dinning area of Nan and Pop’s house, utilising the abundant soft natural light coming through the windows.

The second series of images were captured in one of the bedrooms, with the blinds closed, so not a great deal of natural light available. I came prepared and set up a flash & white umbrella

All images © 2009 Robb Duncan and captured by Canon 5D mk II & either my 50mm/1.4 or my sweet little 85mm/1.8 Lens.
And as always, feel free to comment

Image of the Week (4)
February 27, 2009
Image of the week is a regular blog post running every Friday (hopefully, this is only the forth post… so who knows !) with the aim of showing you something a little different.
This post was supposed to be posted on Friday Morning, but for some reason the scheduling feature on the blog didn’t post it… and I wasn’t here to notice it.
Better late than never – here is this weeks Image.

Kilt Pin - Virtutis gloria merces (Glory is the reward of valour) - My Clan Crest & Motto
And for those that are interested, it was captured by :-
Canon 30D & Canon 60mm/2.8 Macro @ – ISO100 – f/5.6 @ 1/250sec
This weeks image fits in really nice with the current Scottish theme, that seems to be abundantly clear ! And its a nice little detail shot.
So there you have it. Oh, and please feel free to comment
