A different take on wedding photography from the ground up

My Wedding Photography Philosophy is quite simple.

When you book me as your wedding photographer, there are no last minute surprises or substitutions, I am the photographer that will photograph your wedding day. And to make sure all the little moments of your wedding are captured I always have a trusted second photographer working along side me. There are times during the wedding when a little direction and posing is needed, organising the all important family group portraits for example, but for the most part, we work in an unobtrusive,  hands off, documentary style.

I have to admit I hate the idea of goofy outdated plastic looking poses, the same old tired photo locations, and worst of all, those all time classic’s, the “mock cutting of the cake” and its lesser known but equally evil twin, the “fake first dance”. I mean seriously, if you are not actually going to cut the cake, what is the point in capturing an image of 2 people standing next to it with a knife… ? And don’t get me started on the fake first dance, I mean seriously…?!

I am passionate about this, because you don’t deserve fake or cheapened memories, you value images that are real, that are full of life and love and joy, and that is what I do best. My packages start with a minimum of 8 hours coverage, to make sure every important moment of your day is captured, from your Dress still hanging and the Groom polishing his shoes, all the way through to your first dance and the real cutting of the cake!

Photography is my life and thats why my philosophy is simple.
