Ballarat Fly Fishers Club Jetty

I have spent a bit of time in and around Ballarat over the past few months, meeting with clients, scouting locations and shooting engagement sessions. Having lived there when I was a kid, it always has a familiar, homely kind of feel to it. What can I say, I really love Ballarat.

I think the best part though, is re-discovering places I remember from my childhood, like…

And back then the lake had more water of course…

So there you have it and like I always say, please feel free to comment… Especially those of you viewing this via Facebook !!!

Charlene - Luscious textures in this one. Very film-like, and the slight vignetting in the corners is lovely – naturally occuring or added in post?

Robb Duncan - Thanks Charlene, Its a naturally occurring vignette. The 24/1.4 does it until about f/5.6 or so.

Dan - Awesome. Love the texture and the light. You do get to Ballarat a bit these days huh!!!
