Image of the week is a regular blog post that was supposed to run every Friday, but after the first 5-6 posts I realised that friday was not always the best day to post, so now you get an image of the week when ever I find the time!

Either way, the aim is to show you a little more of what I love to shoot, and sometimes its something a little different.

Its whats on the inside that counts.

Any guesses what this might be…??

And for those that are interested, It was captured by :- Canon 5D Mark II & EF-s 60mm/2.8 Macro – ISO 200 – 1/200 seconds @ f/14

If you are a camera geek like me, you might have noticed that I used the Canon 60mm lens and that it is not supposed to fit the 5DII or any other non EF-s Camera Body for that matter… And you will be wondering what I did to the lens to make it fit… yes…?

Simple, I used a 12mm Marumi Extention Tube.

But before you race out and buy one… make sure you try it first, as I have another set of tubes that don’t fit on EF-s due to the diameter of the internal baffle (in the tube).

And you didn’t get vignetting using the 60mm?? or did you crop it out?

Jono - Its a freaky looking shot, it could be a number of different things and almost looks XXX. that could be my imagination running away with me?

Thats exactly the weird kind of shit I would expect from you Robb. That, my boy, is just about crazy enough to be the best shot I have seen from you in a long while.

Dave - Can I add that I love the pink tones. You should look at using it for the theme of your website, brighten up things a little. Its a bizar image, not totally sure what it is, but I like it.

Petra - So lunch is more important huh? Thats not fair!

James P - Can you tell us what the image is and can you email me the details of the ext ring with the 60mm cos I have one and a 5D and would like to give it a go!
